Adios Hermana Davis!

Linda is officially at the Missionary Training Center, MTC, in Provo, Utah. We got up early on Tuesday to head up to Utah to visit friends and family before dropping Linda off. The Lindstrom's were kind enough to let us stay at their house and even sent us home with lots of delicious fruit, that we got to pick!

Wednesday morning Uncle Thor took us to the farm that he works at. It was awesome!!

Official raspberry picking buckets! We're cool.

The big moment was almost here... but first we had to go get the fabulous J-Dawgs at the edge of BYU campus. They are the heavenliest hot dogs you can imagine. So good!!

And now she's having a blast doing the Lord's work!! If you want to read about her adventures, we will be posting her letters on her blog: http://whenigotosleep.blogspot.com/

Dad's Dreams Coming True... and Jimmy's too!

Ever since we moved to our new house Dad has dreamed of putting in a swamp cooler and getting a shed. Well his dreams finally came true, but of course it was the week after the hottest week in Vegas.

That really is a hole in the side of our house!! yikes.

The shed was carried over house in a crane and set in our backyard. Dad was thrilled to finally get his longed for shed, but I think Jimmy was even more excited about the crane that delivered it!

The man who owned the crane was nice enough to let Jimmy help drive it!
Hurray for having a cooler house and hopefully, a cleaner garage!

We're Going to the Chapel!

Not to get married! Robert and Claire went to the Temple to do that. We went to the chapel to decorate for the luncheon. We spent HOURS making paper flowers for the centerpieces. Although, I think they turned out pretty fantastic, even if I do say so myself.
