Mr. Heritage

Our ward has an annual Mr. Heritage Pageant in which boys in our ward compete for the title. It is a multiple part competition comprised of a talent, interview, and sports attire fashion show.

Here's what he wore for his talent. I tried to record the whole thing but my camera mysteriously deleted it mid-taping, for which I am sincerely sorry. You all would really have enjoyed watching it. He sang "That's All" by Michael Buble- to his girlfriend.
The computer hates his interview. I tried to upload it twice and it wouldn't. I'm sorry.
And of course, the winner is...


I should also note that every Mr. Heritage winner has married their consultant within a year.

It Finally Happened!

JULIE IS ENGAGED!!!!!
It's true; it happened last night at, believe it or not, a bridal expo. We (Julie, Megan and I) were asked to model some wedding dresses at a bridal show this weekend. At the end of the show, Nathan showed up in a tux with a red rose and proposed. It was super cute!

It's Raining, It's Pouring

It seriously has been raining and pouring here for the last three days. It rained ALL of yesterday. The best part was seeing everyone's lack of wet gear. Everyone walking around UNLV was just in sweatshirts and sneakers. One girl was even in slippers! Luckily, we were decked out in galoshes!

The Magical Forest

Julie, Nathan, and I had free tickets to the Magical Forest, so we took the kids. Although it was cold, they had a lot of fun riding the train and carousel and big slide (not pictured here, but I'm working on it).

Trains!

We thought we were going to be able to ride on the Santa Train, but by the time we got there, the tickets were all gone, so instead we took a ten minute ride around the station. The kids still thought it was cool, though.
